Mandatory Editorial Coordination (MEC) |
A required review by IEEE SA staff to verify whether a draft standard is compliant with all legal, copyright, and other editorial matters prior to the initiation of an IEEE SA ballot |
New Standards Committee (NesCom) |
Examines Project Authorization Requests (PARs) and makes recommendations to the IEEE SA Standards Board (SASB) regarding their approval. |

Project Authorization Request (PAR) |
