myProject Release Notes

Release 4.3 - 1 October 2024:

• Added IEEE and IEEE SA Membership validation for assignment of subcommittee Chair, Vice-Chair and Vice-Chair Alternate roles.
• Ballot comment files available via RevCom supporting documents and related agenda downloads will no longer be part if a zip file. Comments CSV files and zip files containing any comment attachments will be available separately.
• Added a feature to "Follow" discussion on a RevCom/NesCom/AudCom comment. Following a comment tread will give you email notifications when any replies are added.
• Added reminders to submit source materials. Weekly reminders will go to Standards Committee and Working Group officers if source materials have not been submitted at the time of submission to RevCom.
• Added a "Status" filter to the AudCom/NesCom/RevCom Meetings list. This will allow you to filter by Scheduled, Individual Review, Open Review or Closed meetings.

Release 4.2.5 - 21 May 2024:

• Added "(Entity Member)" after the entity name in all affiliation screens to allow users to affiliate with the correct entity member organization
• Added an export function for the Accepted P&Ps list under "View and Manage Standards Committee P&Ps"
• Added an export function for the NesCom/RevCom/AudCom Submission Summary screens
• Fix for issue with adding Working Group Awards recipients with no matching IEEE Account

Release 4.2 - 7 November 2023:

• Added a copy of submitted PAR to RevCom files for projects with modified PARs also on a NesCom agenda
• PAR titles will now be restricted to ASCII Printable Characters only, additional special characters will not be supported
• Working Group Awards:
  • Added ability to add and remove individual recipients (List must be populated first)
  • Added Phone and Country fields (now required for all awards sent directly to recipient)
• Added an option to download interested users only from group roster area
• IMAT/Mentor sync improvements:
  • Use most recently updated email and employer if systems have different values for a user

Release 4.1 - 29 June 2023:

• Added an Entity Members List report
• All reports in main menu now listed under "Reports" menu: includes PAR and Standards Report, Entity Members List, View Individuals Report (based on user permission), Single Ballot Report (based on user permission)

• Standards Committee Reject PAR will no longer automatically remove PAR from agenda

Release 3.4 - 21 April 2022:

• Public Review Integration:
  • View Public Review Comments via the new "Public Review" tab in the Ballot Details screen
  • No action will be necessary in the Public Review system if no comments have been received
  • Link to the Public Review system will now be on the "Public Review" tab
• PAR/Standards Report Improvements:
  • "Filter by Committee" feature for Standards Committees will now include all projects where the selected committee is the Co-Standards Committee
  • Exports will now include a field for "Co-Standards Committee" which will include all applicable co-standards committees
  • Standards Report now has an option to include inactive standards
• New feature to prevent duplicate Working Group requests on PAR submissions
• Added visibility for section 7.5 (ANSI submittal) responses during Standards Committee review of PAR submissions
• Fix for balloters unable to see final round ballot comments on completed projects
• Outgoing emails will now come from myProject@ieee.org instead of noreply@ieee.org

Release 3.3 - 10 February 2022:

• Added a "Direct Link for logging interest" in all groups that may be shared externally. This link will also be published on group pages on the IEEE SA Website
• Entity Group roster management functions have been improved and Officers of Entity groups now have the ability to manage members and representatives. Previously this needed to be done by IEEE Staff.
• Updated help links to point to new IEEE SA Support Portal powered by Zendesk and added help widget to bring help content inside application.
• Improved ability to respond to data privacy requests

Release 3.2 – 28 October 2021:

• For ballots where invitations have been re-opened or extended, the “initial Invitation Close Date” will be displayed on the ballot details screen. This is to aid in compliance with IEEE SA Standards Board Operations Manual 5.4.2: “If a ballot does not open within 6 months of the initial invitation close date, the ballot group will be considered invalid and the Standards Committee shall conduct a new invitation.”
• Email reminders to open a ballot will be sent to Group officers at intervals of 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 days from the original invitation close date for ballots still in the pre-ballot stage.
• “Administrative Withdrawal” will no longer appear as an option on the PAR withdrawal request form
• PAR submitter emails will no longer display on PAR form views. Standards Committee/Working Group officers and NesCom members will still be able to view submitter information via the submission details screen.

Release 3.1 – 7 August 2021:

• Add additional help text to “Must Be Satisfied” comment field for balloters
• NesCom and RevCom Submission Summary view improvements for committee members

• Allow assignment of Open Source Lead role in addition to other officer roles.

Release 3.0 – 1 July 2021:

• Working Group Awards
  • This feature will allow a Working Group Chair or Vice-Chair to populate a list of award recipients based on involvement levels set in the Working Group roster. The system will automatically pull the recipient’s address from their IEEE account profile if they have provided one. The Chair/Vice-Chair can then select the type of award the individual should receive and select a delivery method. Once all selections are made, the information can be submitted to the IEEE SA Awards Administrator for processing.
  • This feature will only be available for any standards approved after 1 July 2021, and use is optional at this time. Submission via the existing method will continue to be available until further notice.

Release 2.4.1 – 5 April 2021:

Release 2.4 – 25 Feb 2021:

• Backend technology upgrades
• Implemented https file downloads. This fixes downloads being blocked by security features in Chrome browser.
• Increased login timeout to 4 hours
• Fix for some users getting 413 browser and requiring cache to  be cleared
• Improvements to change tracking on modified PARs

Sync Resumed – 10 Feb 2021:

• IMAT/Mentor Sync resumed
  • Any new changes made in myProject groups and associated officers, involvement levels and affiliations will be automatically synced to IMAT/Mentor at 11:30 PM ET each day
  • Updates to affiliations made via logging attendance will not be synced back to myProject at this time, but will not be overwritten by the sync process unless users make subsequent changes directly via the  myProject interface.

Release 2.3 – 15 Dec 2020:

• Fix for public PAR page display issue
• Do not allow duplicate PAR requests (extend, withdraw, modify) on the same active PAR
• Improved error messages for comment uploads with incorrect format
• Added new Working Group officer, OS Lead, no permissions are attached to the role at this time
• Refresh for project group shortname values. These may have been displaying incorrectly if projects were moved to new groups.

• Roster updates via upload no longer set involvement levels to “pending” if the user has alredy declared an affiliation in the group.

Release 1.2.5 – 20 Feb 2020:

• Users will no longer be prompted to update preferences if they have not done so in the past year. This feature was causing confusion and was removed due to user feedback.
• Landing page now loads with IE11. Note: IE11 is still not a recommended browser.
• Fixes to incorrect dates showing on initiate ballot and recirculation
• Fixes to PAR submitter not being able to respond to NesCom comments
• Fixes for incorrect email template being sent for Entity ballot invitations
• Fixes for users unable to log votes and comments on ballots/recirculations for the last 12 hours prior to close
