Send a Direct Link for Registering Interest in a Group

To aid in collecting interest for participation in group activities, myProject provides a direct link for logging interest in a particular group that may be shared with potential participants. 

Applicable Users:

• Standards Committee (SC) and/ or Working Group (WG) Officers, IEEE Staff.

Notes:

• Potential participants must log in with an IEEE Account in order to declare interest in the group.

Instructions:

1. From the myProject home screen, select Menu.
2. Click Manage Groups.
3. Use the Search field, Filter By Type, or Filter by Group Status options to locate the appropriate group.
4. Click on the Edit Group Details icon.
5. Copy the Register Interest URL.
6. Paste and share the URL with potential participants.
7. The potential participant will be prompted to log in and declare a level of interest and affiliation.
