Remove Yourself from a Ballot

Applicable Users:

• IEEE SA individual or corporate members currently enrolled in a ballot

Notes:

• You can remove yourself from a ballot group, but only while the ballot invitation is open.
• If you have paid a per-ballot fee or your membership is processing, you will not be able to remove yourself from a ballot. You will need to contact IEEE SA staff to make any necessary changes.
• For Entity Ballots: If you are the EBR for an IEEE SA corporate member and you remove yourself from the ballot group, the EBRA, if enrolled, will become the EBR and the next individual in the Waiting List, other than the EMR, will be assigned the EBRA role. If you are the EBR and there is no EBRA assigned, the entity is removed entirely from the ballot group.

Instructions:

1. On the myProject Home Screen click Menu.
2. Click Invitations/Ballots.
3. Click the My Ballots tab.
4. Use the Search Ballots box or Filter by Stage function to locate the ballot group you want to remove yourself from.
5. Click the edit pencil next to your voter classification for the ballot you wish to modify.
6. Click Remove Myself from Ballot.
7. Click Yes to confirm. Click the Opt out box to prevent future ballot notifications for this ballot.
